Super exciting first day of racing here in Fairbanks. The first 4 teams are within just about a minute of each other, and some good teams are not far behind them. The conditions were great for mushers, dogs and spectators – sunny and clear with temps around 25F. Powerhouse teams Ellis and Streeper are only 9 seconds apart in 1st and 2nd, so it is anyone’s race.
