Over the Coffee Cup
This is Team and Trail, the monthly news bulletin designed with the serious dog musher in mind. We hope all of you to whom the racing and profitable working of your dogs is of primary importance will enjoy Team and Trail and will contribute to its interest for others.
Our main interest will be sled dog racing and the people who keep the sport alive. News, not opinions, will be our stock in trade. We will keep our prices low by keeping our bulletin simple. In months to come we will hope to add picture pages to our format, but for the present we ask you to bear with the dear old battered mimeograph machine and its inept operator.
Many people have told us that they felt a publication of this type was needed in the racing world, to carry that news which cannot be of interest to anyone EXCEPT the serious and devoted dog driver. We will attempt to serve the musher the best way we can. Please tell your dog-driving friends about us. We are not at present advertising in other publications and we may not ever do so. If you like T&T, tell some musher you know.
That serious speech took up one cup, black. New we’ll pour another and get into the interesting part.
