Q & A with Jennifer Braun
Location: Quesnel, BC, Canada
Occupation: Backcountry operator and dog musher
Next Race or Adventure: I’ll go with not dog related. My sister and I are planning a backpacking trip in the area. It’s going to be four days at the beginning of October.
It’s going to be up in the Bowron provincial park area, but it’s not going to technically be in the park. It’s called the goat river mountain trail. It’s an old, prospecting and mining route. it’s going to be pretty chilly, but it’ll be good cause, she’s going to take her dog.
I’m going to pick a dog to bring with me. I’m not too sure who yet.

Robert had the pleasure of sitting down with Jennifer and her partner Greg, virtually, as part of the Team & Trail 2025 Tour.
We asked her what she was reading and she said, ” Life with Forty Dogs,” and her favorite band to listen to, “has got to be Shinedown and the song, Simple Man.”
The gear she always has with her, other than her phone ad under $100 is, “Probably a multi-tool, especially working in back country and mushing, always multi-tool.”
