Yukon Quest Events Coming Up

The Yukon Quest International Sled Dog Race is hosting three events in Fairbanks during the next two weeks.A rookie workshop is set for Saturday at 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Glacier Room of the Alpine Lodge.The event is open to any aspiring musher who wishes to learn about the running the race, which in 2014 starts on Feb. 1 on the Chena River in downtown Fairbanks and finishes in Whitehorse, Yukon.Read more here: http://www.newsminer.com/sports/local_community/yukon-quest-events-coming-up/article_5e06251a-2e62-11e3-bc26-001a4bcf6878.html
