Streeper leads 2nd day at Noorvik

Buddy Streeper leads the second day of the Noorvik Spring Carnival. With temperatures around 0C, the trail was better, less slippery and less bumps.Streeper leads with a second day time of 60:36, for a 2 day time of 123:14, over Kornmuller 66:07, (128:54) followed by Cyrus Harris (139:20), Luke Sampson (143:32) and John Gallahorn (149:06). Gallahorn loaded 2 dogs on the second day.Day three is a reverse start.Noorvik is a small town located on the Kobuk River, 47 miles east of Kotzebue. With a year-round population of around 634 people.
