It’s hard to say if Ralph adopted Grand Marais or it was the other way around.Regardless, the result was a special love story that’s being marked again this year through the dedication of Mile 119 of the U.P. 200 Sled Dog Race.The animal who became known as Ralph was a sled dog who appeared to the residents of Grand Marais in 2002, explained Vickie Petruske, who lives and works in the small Alger County town.Read more here: http://www.miningjournal.net/page/content.detail/id/572462.html
