Sled dogs’ 517 km journey to begin Tuesday

A true test of endurance, 17 sled dog teams have already signed up to participate in the 15th annual Canadian Challenge Sled Dog Race, set to begin at noon, Tuesday.”This year we’re following a formula that has worked well for the last number of years,” the organization’s president and race coordinator Gill Gracie said. “We’ve spent a lot of years finding a good trail and building it, and this year we more or less just have to maintain it, which is a huge work load off the trail crew.”Read more here: http://www.paherald.sk.ca/Local/News/2012-02-16/article-2897607/Sled-dogs%26rsquo-517-km-journey-to-begin-Tuesday/1
