Seavey first to White Mountain

In sled-dog racing, pedigree matters.Dallas Seavey, 25, on Tuesday morning was the first musher to reach White Mountain, where he settled in for a mandatory eight-hour layover before beginning the king-making sprint to Nome.Among the mushers he’s left behind along the trail are his father and grandfather.And no one knows a Seavey like a Seavey.Read more here: http://community.adn.com/adn/node/160318
