Race of Champions Chezik and Gjestson Set Pace in Races at Tok

Ken Chezik left Alaska the same way he came in this winter — a winner in the sprint sled dog racing.Chezik, a native of Fife Lake, Mich., began his racing season in the 49th state by claiming the top spot in the Fur Rendezvous World Championship in Anchorage ended it by winning the eight-dog and Open classes last weekend at the Tok Race of Champions.Ami Gjestson of Fairbanks also ended her season on a high note at Tok, winning the six-dog class by posting the fastest time each day.Read more here: http://newsminer.com/bookmark/18013954-Race-of-Champions-Chezik-Gjestson-set-pace-in-races-at-Tok
