Mushers Recall Tales From The Quest Trail

For a race known for its harsh and demanding trail, mushers couldn’t help but reflect on how nice the Yukon Quest International Sled Dog Race was this year.Terms like “perfect,” “super highway” and “amazing” were thrown around, coming from both seasoned racers and freshly minted veterans.Ironically, it wasn’t the intense competition or the super slick trail that mushers said would go down as being the highlight of the race.
