Los Molinos Woman Shares Iditarod Teacher On The Trail Experience In Oroville

No matter how challenging things get, persevere, keep trying.That was the main message retired Los Molinos teacher Blynne Froke conveyed to Oroville elementary school children Friday as she recounted her experiences on the Iditarod race as last year’s 2012 Teacher on the Trail.”It’s a challenge, it’s hard, but if you keep trying, you get better and better,” said Froke during a 90-minute presentation to a dozen fourth-, fifth- and sixth-graders at Stanford Avenue School.The Iditarod is an annual race along the Iditarod Trail in Alaska, where teams of dogs pull sleds and handlers, called mushers.
