International Sled Dog Race Starts Near Minsk

Siberian Huskies, malamutes, laikas, shorthaired pointers and even a poodle came to Belarus from six countries. The III Winter sled dog race started at -10C. (Karina Danchenkova, participant of the III Winter sled dog race “Zavirukha-2013”) According to the rules of the International Federation of Sled Dog Sports, the dogs passed the obligatory veterinary control. There are also special requirements for the equipment of sportsmen. (Agne Davide, arbiter of the III Winter sled dog race “Zavirukha-2013” (Lithuania) (Olga Protasova, four-time sled race champion of Russia, participant of the III Winter sled dog race “Zavirukha-2013”) The order of the first stage starts was determined by the draw.
