Erharts Rule Minto Winter Carnival Races

Erharts took three of the top four spots as the Minto Winter Carnival sled dog race wrapped up Saturday afternoon.Carl Erhart posted the fastest time of the day (45 minutes, 48 seconds) for the second straight day to claim the title with a two-day time of 94 minutes, 20 seconds.He was the only musher in the race to complete two trips around the trail in under 100 minutes. Erhart collected $800 for his first place finish.Mike Stephens of Fairbanks finished second, posting a time of 47:57 Saturday and 100:11 overall.
