Grant Beck, from Yellowknife , Northwest Territories, Canada, placed second in 4:13:04. In third place, Jacques Philip from Nenana, Alaska, completed the course in 4:13:27.In overall standings, Davis maintains the lead with a total time of 20:21:42. Philip remains in second place with 21:30:17; Beck is third with 21:34:18.Teams departed on the 55-mile leg from the Lake Viva Naughton starting line at 9:00 a.m. and averaged speeds ranging from 9.8 to 13.3 miles per hour.On Friday, February 2, the IPSSSDR begins at 10:00 a.m., 30 miles south of Evanston on the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway / Mountain View. On Saturday, February 3, teams will complete the last stage of the race in Park City, Utah.
