Corrections to Sept/Oct Mushing Magazine issue

#1. The media review in the Sept/Oct 2008 issue of Mushing Magazine did not include information on where to find Michelle Phillips’ excellent book: “1000 Mile Sled Dog Journal, My Yukon Quest Story” Books can be purchased from either the Yukon Quest store at www.yukonqueststore.com or they can be obtained directly from Michelle. Her email adress is tagishsleddog@northwestel.net#2. We incorrectly stated that Virginia Kraft-Payson was the first female musher to finish the Anchorage Fur Rendezvouz World Championship in 1966. Actually, Natalie Norris was the first female to compete and finish the race in 1951, she placed 13th. Full Rondy archives can be found at www.asdra.org
