HOWLING Siberian huskies could wake the forest north of Margaret River over the long weekend, with the running of the eighth annual Margaret River Sled Dog Masters.More than 60 competitors will be pulled around a course on forest tracks three kilometres north of town by dogs, mainly Siberian huskies and malamutes.One of the organizers from the Running West Sled Dog Club, Natalie McIllree, said because the dogs are not allowed to race in temperatures more than 15C, races are scheduled in the cool of the day, from 5.30pm Saturday and from 6.30am Sunday and Monday.Read more here: http://www.margaretrivermail.com.au/news/local/news/general/running-dog-power/2574434.aspx
