Mansfield Musher Starts Second Iditarod

With just a week before Alaska’s biggest race of the year, there was a significant change to Matthew Failor’s Iditarod team.“It was quite the phone call,” said his father, Tim Failor, with a laugh.As recent as Matt’s Yukon Quest finish on Feb. 14 was, the 2000 St. Peter’s High School graduate planned to take the same team of dogs with him to Iditarod, billed as “The Last Great Race on Earth.”Matt, who works at Mad Stork Kennel in Big Lake, Alaska, has been taking care of the team of dogs since October.Read more here: http://www.mansfieldnewsjournal.com/article/20130303/NEWS01/303030037/Local-grad-begins-second-Iditarod?nclick_check=1
