Mushing Mess Rescue in White Mountains raises questions about “guided” mushing trip

When Todd Surloff arrived last week to go on a four-day dog mushing trip in the White Mountains National Recreation Area north of Fairbanks, the 43-year-old chiropractor from Atlanta, Ga., was champing at the bit.He had planned the trip for the better part of three years.
