Yukon Quest Raises Enough Cash for Prize Purse

The Yukon Quest has raised enough money to pay the $150,000 purse to the top 15 mushers in the sled dog race.Organizers say donations have been coming in to both Fairbanks, Alaska, and Whitehorse since last Wednesday, when they announced they still needed to raise $50,000 for the race’s prize money.Read more here: http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/north/story/2012/01/11/north-yukon-quest-purse.html
