All of the teams are into Braeburn, the first checkpoint of the Yukon Quest. Hugh Neff leads the race, stopping at Braeburn at 9:18pm, February 10th for a mandatory layover, leaving at 3:27am on February 11th. Following Neff is William Kleedehn just 1 hour behind, and Gerry Willowmitzer in third place.
