Yukon Quest 30th Birthday Party!

The Yukon Quest 1,000 Mile International Sled Dog Race is celebrating 30 years with a huge birthday party! The Long John Masquerade Party will take place Friday, October 26th, at Mount McIntyre Recreation Centre in Whitehorse. The party will feature 80s music by DJ Daniel Ashley, food, a cash bar, and lots of cake from The Chocolate Claim! Come in your best long johns and receive a free dog mask! Or bring your own dog mask for a chance to win a prize! Tickets are just $10, available at the Yukon Quest Office or at the door. The 2013 Yukon Quest starts February 2nd in Whitehorse, Yukon. To-date, 22 mushers have signed up to run the 30th edition of the race.
