Festivities for this year’s Race to the Sky begin today with a vet check for all of the dogs competing 350-mile race at the Capital Hill Mall from noon to 3 p.m. The public is invitedIn addition, sled dogs will be visiting local schools and Shodair Children’s Hospital.Of the dozen mushers competing in the big race, one is from Helena.
