Tetzner wins open class, Partow sweeps 6 and 10 dog at Su Valley Championship in Montana Creek

Michael Tetzner posted the fastest time on day one and second fastest on day two of the 15 mile course. His total time of 90:54 edged out Ken Chezik 92:36 and George Attla III 92:58. Both Tetzner, from Germany, and Chezik, from Michigan, come up to Alaska every year to race the sprint circuit. Kourosh Partow won the 10 dog and 6 dog class. He ran the 10 dog class with 8 dogs and broke the track record on the first day while averaging nearly 22 mph. Evelyn Beeter and Jerry Woods swapped positions after Evelyn edged out Jerry on day 2 and claimed 2nd overall. In the 4 dog class, Pam Schamber beat Kim Wells and Amy Maclean. Greg Jurek won the 2 dog skijor class, and Kriya Dunlap won the 1 dog.
