Sled Dogs Get Check-Up Before Race To The Sky

The annual Race To The Sky starts Saturday at 10 a.m., and the stars of the show – the sled dogs – got a check-up on Friday before they begin their journey.Veterinarian Sue Geske explained, “Most of these dogs start running in August for their training runs and so they prepare to run in all types of conditions whether it is warm conditions or very very cold conditions and deep snow is part of their training.”Read more here: http://www.krtv.com/news/sled-dogs-get-check-up-before-race-to-the-sky/
