Sled Dog Racing Coming to County

Mushers and teams of sled dogs are expected to converge in Harrow in November for the area’s first competition sanctioned by the International Sled Dog Racing Association.No snow? No problem.”In Essex County we can’t count on that snow,” said Lori Lee, chairwoman of the new Sleddog Sports Association of Southwestern Ontario.The Essex County International Dryland Dog Derby scheduled for Nov. 9 and 10 is for the growing number of people involved in dryland racing or urban mushing.
