While the top of Mt. Shasta is spectacularly blanketed in white, the trails below 6,000 feet on the north side of Mt. Shasta turned to mud by Jan. 25.The Siskiyou Sled Dog Races, which were scheduled to take place on Feb. 11-12 have been postponed until March 17-18.
