Race To The Sky: Grueling Trails Thinning Pack At Halfway Point

Two dog drivers were running neck-and-neck Monday in the 27th Annual Race to the Sky as the 350-mile sled dog race reached the halfway point.This year’s contest, which has drawn teams from seven states and Canada, is proving to be extra tough sledding because of mild temperatures and recent snowfall, mushers said at a checkpoint here Monday.Read more here: http://www.greatfallstribune.com/article/20120214/NEWS01/202140302/Race-Sky-Grueling-trails-thinning-pack-halfway-point?odyssey=nav%7Chead
