Jacksonville’s warm sandy beaches will soon give way to the icy Arctic whiteness of Norway for Larry Daugherty.He can’t wait.The Jacksonville Beach oncologist says he’s “totally excited and stoked” to partake in the 186-mile Fjällräven Polar Arctic tundra dog sled trek between Signaldalen, Norway, and Jukkasjärvi, Swedish Lapland, that starts Tuesday.One of 20 in the five-day event, Daugherty has wanted to do something like this since he was 10.
