Less Than One Second Separates Eight-dog Leaders in Limited North American Championships

After two days of racing and 22 miles on the trail, Jennifer Probert and Christian Taveau are less than a second apart atop the eight-dog class of the Alaska Dog Mushers Association Limited North American Championships.After Taveau won Friday’s first heat at the Jeff Studdert Racegrounds by a mere 0.2 seconds, Probert came back to win Saturday’s 11-mile jaunt by 0.4 seconds, so she will have a slim edge when the teams head out for a 12.1-mile run this afternoon, the final day of racing.Read more: http://newsminer.com/bookmark/17835910-Less-than-one-second-separates-eight-dog-leaders-in-Limited-North-American-Championships
