Krause Wins Minto 90 Sled Dog Race

Deryl Krause of Nenana captured the Minto 90 sled dog race title, even though he didn’t have the best time in Sunday’s second 45-mile heat.Krause opened up a 30-minute lead on the first day of the race and finished within two minutes of North Pole’s Mark May to claim the title by a comfortable 28-minute margin.The race featured two 45-mile heats from New Minto to Old Minto and back.Read more here: http://newsminer.com/view/full_story/18004097/article-Krause-wins-Minto-90-sled-dog-race?instance=home_sports_bullets
