Jennifer Freking Wins WolfTrack Classic Sled Dog Race

Musher Jennifer Freking of Finland won Sunday’s 10-dog, 60-mile WolfTrack Classic Sled Dog Race from Ely to Cook, crossing the finish line seven minutes ahead of runner-up Bill Wehseler of Tofte.Exact trail times were not available Sunday night. Mushers left Ely in a staggered start beginning at 9 a.m. Sunday, and Freking and her team crossed the finish line in Cook at 3:20 p.m., according to the race website.Read more here: http://www.duluthnewstribune.com/event/article/id/259713/group/homepage/
