Iron Line Dog Sled Race Preparations Begin

The Iron Line dog sled race takes place in Iron River, and coordinators for the race have already started making preparations for this year. The race is taking place on January 31 and February 1 of 2014.The director of the race says donors, sponsors, and other community members have already been supporting the upcoming event. Registration for mushers is already open, and those in charge say they’re excited to get this event going. “This year we’ve already had just really good interest from the community,” said director, Josh Brindle. “I’ve been by the City Council and other places, and everyone’s pretty excited to have the race back.”Read more here: http://www.uppermichiganssource.com/news/story.aspx?id=954314#.Uk7yE92EFX8
