Gjestson earns Montana Creek mushing title

FAIRBANKS — Ami Gjestson of Fairbanks captured the six-dog championship trophy at the Montana Creek Championship sprint sled dog races, highlighting an impressive showing by Interior Alaska mushers at the two-day event near Willow.Gjestson had the fastest time in each of the two six-mile heats to finish a little more than a minute ahead of Greg Sellentin.Read more: http://newsminer.com/view/full_story/17039262/article-Gjestson-earns-Montana-Creek-mushing-title?instance=home_sports_bullets
