DOG SLED RACER VISITS LIBRARY

The Iditarod dog sled race is a 1,049 mile trek across the grueling terrain of Alaska that starts in Anchorage, ends in Nome and has been completed by fewer people than a climb to the peak of Mount Everest.That’s what Karen E. Land told children at the Ogdensburg Public Library Thursday, accompanied by one of her dogs, Borage.
