It was a good time had by both man and man’s best friend at the Brownville and Beyond sled dog race Saturday.This was the fourth year the Maine Highlands Sled Dog Club put on the event, though last years was cancelled due to a lack of snow. Around 15 dog sled teams participated, with some traveling as far as Maryland to compete. Rico Portalatin traveled from Massachusetts for the trip, and it was well worth it.
