Dinner Plain is the only Australian Alpine Village where sled dogs are allowed to race, one weekend a year. Celebrating more than 16 years of successful sled dog racing, this race is held over a weekend with 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8 dog teams competing. This annual event showcases the top dogs of sled dog racing in Australia. Teams travel from WA, Queensland, SA, NSW and Victoria to compete in this event.
