Aurora Kids Learn About Sled Dogs Via Skype

AURORA — Donelle Leach’s third-graders in Aurora had the chance Tuesday to talk live to a park ranger at Denali National Park in Alaska.They learned about the special features of sled dogs, asked questions such as, “What happens if the musher falls off the sled?” and played games that showed what they learned — all with the park ranger who was 3,500 miles away.Read more here: http://www.theindependent.com/news/local/aurora-kids-learn-about-sled-dogs-via-skype/article_b418afc4-1fa5-58f1-83c4-120de6974eb4.html
