Area Mushers Tackle Iditarod

Four mushers from the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta signed up to run the Iditarod in 2013.Mike Williams Sr ., Mike Williams Jr. and Richie Diehl, all of Aniak, and Pete Kaiser of Bethel made their application for the world-renown sled dog race from Anchorage to Nome before the Nov. 30 deadline.Mike Williams Sr. will be running his 15th Iditarod at 62 years old.
