An annual sled dog race in New Hampshire has been postponed as organizers wait for more snow.The Laconia Sled Dog Derby had been scheduled for the weekend of Feb. 10-12.The Citizen reports (http://bit.ly/yFTiB8) the Lakes Region Sled Dog Club, which manages the derby, decided Wednesday to move the event to Feb. 24-26.Jim Lyman, the club’s trail boss, said ideally, at least 10 inches of good snow is needed on the trails to set up a competitive race course.He said the club will re-examine its decision in a couple of weeks. This year marks the 83rd running of the derby.
