Alaska Native Mushing Icon George Attla Hopes to Boost Sport in Villages

Champion sprint musher George Attla once had someone offer him $5,000 for one of his dogs. Attla said he was confused why someone would want to buy only one dog when you need 14 for a team, but the man explained.The man told Attla he wanted to be associated with the winning dog team.
