ADMA Races Canceled on Account of Frigid Temps

Frigid temperatures in Interior Alaska led to the cancellation of ski and sprint mushing races Saturday, although a few human runners braved the cold. With the thermometer at 42 below at 8:15 a.m., the Alaska Dog Mushers Association canceled it’s second Annamaet Challenge Series race of the season, while the Nordic Ski Club of Fairbanks was forced to postpone the Flint Hills Cup cross-country ski race at the Birch Hill Recreation Area.Read more here:
