2012 Iditarod: Feeding Furry Fuel Tanks

The Iditarod racers are off and running. Actually, by now, they are through the Alaska Range and onto the Interior trails.For the competitors, the checkpoints of Skwentna, Finger Lake and Rainy Pass have come and gone. Most of us watching the race check on the times and positions of the teams. However, few consider the role pre-race preparations play in how teams are moving.
