The organization of Pirena has decided to cancel the 2007 race due to low snow. The race was cancelled at the last minute, hoping that snow would come in the last week. The situation had not improved, and for the safety of the dogs and mushers, the race was cancelled. The Pirena is a fifteen-day stage race which races through the Pyrenees Mountains in Spain, Andorra and France.
