Réal Turmel leads at Woburn

The 10-dog race on day 1 at Woburn, Quebec was won by Réal Turmel in a time of 38:43 over the 12.5 miles. The Défi de la Gosford race also had a 4 and 6-dog race with a total purse of CA$7,000.Second place in the 10-dog class was Claude Bellerive in a time of 38:59, followed closely by Steve Long in 39:00.The 6-dog race was won by Mélanie Bellerive, followed by Fanny Houle and Michel Therrien.
