Chezik Hangs on to Third Place in ONAC, Comedian’s Sled Hits Handler

Only three mushers held their positions Saturday in the second heat of the 67th annual GCI Open North American Championship sled dog race.Ken Chezik started and finished the day in third place, John Erhart held onto his sixth position even though he place seventh for the day and Randy DeKuiper remained 19th even though he was 15th in Saturday’s standings.Veteran ONAC racers Marvin Kokrine of North Pole and Paula Ciniero of Two Rivers made the biggest moves in the standings as each jumped three spots.Read more: http://newsminer.com/view/full_story/17924621/article-Chezik-hangs-on-to-third-place-in-ONAC–comedian’s-sled-hits-handler?instance=home_sports_bullets
